About Me

Hey, I'm Skye

Thank you so much for visiting my blog! My mission is to encourage you to grow by investing in yourself, both inside and out, so you can becoming a thriving person who goes out and inspires others to do the same!

Skye Sauchelli

I am a beach girl who loves Jesus, tea, CHOCOLATE, and cats.  Wife and proud mama of two kitties and a rescue pup, I pride myself on my drive to keep growing in knowledge and improving my mental health so I can inspire others to value their own mental health.

After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I worked in the Human Service field, and realized that I love supporting those who seek to grow and flourish.

My mission in life is to serve others by promoting their worth and self-love. I am passionate about inspiring growth so others can feel valued and worthy, and then spread the love!

I approach life through the lens of mental health and believe personal wellness plays a significant role in progress and self-development in any area of life!

A few fun facts about me:

1. I’m Italian and Scottish.  My name comes from the Isle of Skye off the coast of Scotland, where my grandma was born.

2. My most favorite thing to eat is NUTELLA, right out of the jar.

3. I have another project called Jump into Joy.  I co-created this empowerment group for young girls.

4. My go-to drink is an iced chai tea latte.

5. I’m kinda ambidextrous.  I’m a lefty but use my right hand for a lot of things.

6. As off-character as it may seem, I’ve seen every Marvel movie in theaters since 2014!  Thanks to my super-fan husband.

 7. I maintain a pretty healthy lifestyle, work out around 4 times a week and eat clean.  But sweets are my  favorite thing ever, so I’ve found ways to create healthier versions of my favorite treats.

About Thriving and Inspiring

Founded by Skye Sauchelli in 2020, Thriving and Inspiring is an East Coast based Personal Development blog.  It’s a cozy spot on the internet for young women to come, learn, grow, and thrive.

The blog serves as a source of pure encouragement for go-getter ladies who appreciate simplicity in life, healthy living, independence, and knowledge, but tend to get stressed and burnt out.

Thriving and Inspiring is here to support gals who value self-care, health, growth, working hard, and tackling their inner selves so they can live fulfilling lives supporting others.

If you’re striving for growth in any facet of your life (personal, career, spiritual, emotional, physical) and know you still have some growing to do, you’re in the right place.

Here, we grow together.  Skye doesn’t claim to have it all figured out, and she’s right there with you striving for growth.  Together, we can thrive.

“I wish my younger self had access to Skye’s Thriving and Inspiring blog. Even as I am now in my Free At 50 stage, her insights and tips for self-care, goal setting and simply thriving are pure gold (and why I invited her to be a guest on my blog)! Take advantage of her resources.

Introduce more you time into your life

When you leave space to take care of yourself, all aspects of wellness begin to fall into place.

I help young women focus on all aspects of their wellness because I believe they all feed into each other. You can rest assured that my ideas and concepts are rooted in my degree and my own experience on my journey to become a better version of myself.

I’m still on this journey, so join me as we grow together and create a strong community of likeminded, go-getter women.

I’ll come along side you and support and guide you through the tough stuff and the everyday stuff, too.

Can’t wait to be internet besties!
